Safety Leadership Development & Training
LTP Consulting working in collaboration with The Big Canvas and the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager at the client's organisation developed a series of online training modules and introduced the concept of planned and unplanned Safety WALCs to support the development of the organisation's leaders to become visible HSW leaders.
Augmented Reality has been embedded into 'just in time' learning tools, to support learning transfer as leaders undertake KPI embedded Safety WALCs. The 'K' in walk has been changed to a 'C' to emphasis the importance of connecting with employees to support their wellbeing during the interaction.
The Safety WALC acronym stands for:
W: Wellbeing
A: Ask questions
L: Listen and learn
C: Connect
In addition, LTP Consulting is working to develop a 'Safety Leaders' Toolkit' with additional sets of ‘just in time’ safety tools and resources to support the capability uplift of the organisation's HSW leaders.
